Computing
Laptops available to borrow from the Drexel Libraries include access to licensed and owned online resources (like ebooks and journals), databases, and other online reference resources.
Wireless Network (DragonFly3)
- The DragonFly3 Wireless network is available within all libraries. Libraries-owned laptops and patron-owned laptops with registered network cards can connect to this network.
University-licensed Software
- The University has licensed many software applications for use by students, faculty and staff. These applications can now be downloaded via DrexelOne. For information about downloading software, please contact the IT Help Desk at 215-895-2698.
File Storage
- Personal files cannot be stored on computer lab computers; non-library files are automatically cleared from these computers on a daily basis.
- USB 'Flash' drives are recommended as the most efficient way to save and move files. Flash drives of varying sizes can also be purchased at the University Bookstore and elsewhere for about $25-30.
- Drexel Microsoft OneDrive accounts (supported by Drexel IT) provide 100 GB of storage space.
